The Wrong Path
Hercules, the half-mortal son of Zeus, returns home from his latest adventure, just in time to witness his wicked stepmother Hera strike down his wife Deianeira and their three children. Distraught, Herc sets out to destroy Hera's temples in retaliation, leaving his friend Iolaus on his own to deal with a snake-tailed She-Demon that's been turning men into stone.

Eye of the Beholder
The villagers of Trachis task Hercules with ridding them of a giant cyclops who's been making their lives miserable. However, after talking with the cyclops, Herc learns that there's more going on than meets the eye.

The Road to Calydon
After a group of villagers are forced from their homes, Herc helps lead them to the safety of a charmed city that's protected by Apollo. Along the way, the refugees are attacked by a monster known as the Stymphalian Bird and tracked by bounty hunters sent by Hera following the theft of a sacred chalice from one of her temples.

Herc runs into an old friend while attending Meliad's annual Festival of Dionysus. With his friend's help, he uncovers a plot to kill the king, a plot that involves his half-brother Ares, God of War, as well as some tainted wine.

While breaking the news of a soldier's death, Herc learns that Ares is recruiting teen boys for his army, including the dead soldier's son and his friend. To stop his evil half-brother, Herc receives help from a local female blacksmith named Atalanta.

As Darkness Falls
While attending a friend's wedding, Herc is given a poison that strips him of his eyesight. Unfortunately, the bride and her maid of honor are kidnapped by a group of centaurs, aided by Hera. In order to save the day, Herc must rely on his old friend Salmoneus.

Pride Comes Before a Brawl
When Iolaus lets his pride get the best of him, Hera sends Nemesis, goddess of retribution, to execute him for it. While Herc tries to persuade Nemesis to spare his friend's life, Iolaus tries to keep himself and a young woman alive while on the run from a gang of bandits.

Herc pays for a slave, Oi-Lan, before immediately releasing her from enslavement. However, when she reveals her fiance Cyrus has also been enslaved, Herc sets out to reunite Oi-Lan with her betrothed and free Cyrus from slave traders.

After learning a former lover is now married to someone else, Herc's friend Iolaus starts to feel lonely. He soon meets a damsel in distress named Xena, and quickly falls for her. However, Xena is not as she seems, and it's not long before Herc and Iolaus are pitted against each other.

Gladiator
After saving a woman named Felicita, Herc and Iolaus learn that her husband Gladius is imprisoned as a slave, being forced to fight in an arena as a gladiator. So, Herc gets himself and Iolaus locked up with Gladius and other slaves, before working from the inside to free all of them as well as reunite Gladius with his wife and infant son.

The Vanishing Dead
Herc and Iolaus head to Tantalus to investigate when the bodies of dead soldiers start disappearing from the battlefield. They find a brother and sister fighting over their father's throne, with each accusing the other of stealing the dead soldiers. However, Herc instead learns that his half-brother Ares is involved.

Darphus is defeated, but thanks to Ares, he's back from the dead and is now accompanied by Ares's pet Graegus, Dog of War. Meanwhile, Iolaus isn't happy to see Xena, but he reluctantly joins forces with her and Hercules to defeat Darphus once more.
